Hey ya'll! It's me La'Donna, I need your help...please:)

HIV&AIDS affects EVERYONE across the nation whether directly or indirectly. The key to  stopping the spread of this disease is education, prevention and having an open mind. HIV&AIDS does  NOT discriminate against age, gender, race, location, personality, spiritual beliefs, social status or your financial status. Sadly enough many people are infected and have no idea. This is where you can do your part to help, first , be accountable, GET TESTED and know your status! Secondly, learn more about HIV/AIDS and prevention so that you can teach others. Be open-minded enough to  support and empower those that are living with the disease so that they know we're fighting together to end HIV/AIDS!

Working at Friends For Life,  I have personally seen the effects and heard the stories of individuals living with HIV/AIDS and I must say that though our mission is to empower these individuals, they have empowered me more than they'll ever know. Friends For Life is the Mid-South's largest and most comprehensive service organization where we serve over 2,000 people affected by HIV/AIDS. From the food pantry, to wellness support, case management, spiritual support, housing, prevention outreach and testing. Check out our website to find out more about the outstanding services we provide here at my job: www.friendsforlifecorp.org and while doing so I'd like to ask you to help ME help those individuals with HIV/AIDS by giving a donation to support the Friends For Life mission. From $5 to $20, anything will help. You can also show your support by coming out and walking with us on July 26th @ 8:00am, we'll be at the Shelby Farms/Chickasaw Trail. One more thing!!! GET TESTED! we do testing on tuesdays & thursdays 10am- 12am ; 1pm-4pm...Look forward to hearing from you or seeing you  at the walk.
