Every day, nine children in the US are diagnosed with a brain tumor, and brain tumors are the leading cause of death from childhood cancer. There are more than 120 different types of brain tumors, making effective treatment complicated, especially for rare cases like Jordan's. Combined five-year survival rates for pediatric brain tumors are increasing every year, but more can be done.
