We did it!!  Thank you all so very much for your very generous donations.  We not only reached our fundraising goal, but we ALL completed the 55 mile ride.  It turned out to be a glorious day ,and the scenery in Addison County was just amazing. 

I felt very strong for the first 40 miles (a special thank you to Betsy B. for that) but the next 15 were quite a challenge, cycling through the rolling hills of VT.  We saw all kinds of wildlife, many, many cows and even a milk truck that had overturned in Cornwall (thought of you Fred P.) and had spilled milk all over the road -- only in VT!!

All in all, it was a great event.  Unfortunately our friend Margot had a scheduling conflict (she thought it was July 13th) and could not join us.  Bekah Boo (the leader of the pack) showed us the energy of a twenty-something, while the forty-somethings followed behind. 

Again, a very BIG thank you to all who donated and supported us.  For those of you who would still like to, this fundraising page is valid until September 13, 2009.
