When our family first thought about bringing lawnmower racing to Sparta Michigan, deciding on which charity to bring lto light was an easy decision.  Lawnmower racing had become an exciting and family orientated part of the Mikula family; and the Mikula family had been closely affected by Huntington's Disease.

The Mikula family has had seven people diagnosed in the immediate family, Larry the father and six out of the nine children.  Of those four have passed and now a third generation is being affected.  A niece has already passed and a nephew has been diagnosed.

It is our hope that this event will help with ongoing research.
