As many of you know, and also many that don't, I have had SLE (Systemic Lupus) for about 2.5 years. I'm sooo lucky to be well controlled on old-school Lupus meds because there haven't been any new Lupus drugs for 50, yes 50 YEARS!! Many people in the prime of their lives are dying of this systemic disease for lack of new treatments!

I've finally decided enough is enough and we can't afford for our friends, relatives, and neighbors to be debilitated by lack of new drugs and research!  Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fundraising efforts. I'm not asking for more than you can afford...we all know the economy makes it hard for any extra $ these days. If you're local in Seattle on Oct 17th (more details to follow--lets get crazy in purple!)  just show up and show your support for our team! If you're from afar, even a few dollars help.
