The Autism Project of RI is an organization committed to improving the lives of people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and the many, many people who love and support them. We are parents, teachers, speech and language pathologists, occupational therapists and other related professionals. Our programs for the children, teens and young adults include: a two-week summer camp Move, Think, Create, Communicate; The Club - a social group for teens with high-functioning autism and Aspersger Syndrome; monthly Discussion Groups; and support groups for parents of newly diagnosed children. In addition, we provide multiple levels of training for parents and professionals on the disorder including the first introductory level training offered in Spanish in RI.
