As many of you know, I lost one of my closest friends in 2007.  Payton was only 29 when she was overcome with carcinoid - a rare form of neuroendocrine cancer.  While cancer research has come a long way, there is still significant work to be done.  I will be participating in the Country Music Half-Marathon, and am asking you to please consider sponsoring me.  100% of the money you donate will go directly to the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation, a group dedicated to finding a cure for this deadly disease.  You can learn more about the CFCF and their research efforts at www.caringforcarcinoid.org.
