Dear Friend,
Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page for the upcoming Brain Tumor Walk and Angel Adventure® - A Walk and Community Day to support the brain tumor cause.
I lost my dear friend, Carrie Vivian Womack, to a 3 year battle with brain cancer in July. If you haven't already, please ready about it at www.momontherocks.com (That's not a shameful plug - just keeping the yapping down here, and you can go there and read more yapping at your convenience.)When I think about losing her, it still just takes my breath away. By making a contribution through this site, you will support my fundraising efforts and help make a difference in the fight against brain tumors! Sometimes it feels like "Why should I raise money for brain cancer research when it didn't help my friend?" But really, it's all the more reason to do this. Because I would do this for you. It's for our future. So that Carrie's memory lives on, and I MAKE people care and remember her. So that future great lives like hers have a chance to fight this.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to our fundraising efforts.
Please help support my commitment to the National Brain Tumor Foundation by making a donation through my fundraising page by clicking the SPONSOR US NOW button below.
You are also invited to join me at the walk - I'm roadtripping to Dalls for this gig and will be meeting up with Carrie's great friends. Even in her sickest and saddest time, she brought together a great crew of friends. So, we're meeting up for Carrie! You can register online and join us! Visit http://www.firstgiving.com/AngelAdventure and click the GET STARTED button. Once registered, you can also set up your own Personal Fundraising Page. Note: Making a donation to my page is not the same as registering to attend the walk.
Thanks again for supporting my fundraising efforts and helping to make a difference in the fight against brain tumors! Don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
