CALLING ALL OPTIMISTS!
A heart of joy. A spirit of optimism. A playful nature. These are the great gifts of childhood. Thousands of our area’s kids have been robbed of these precious gifts by life’s cruelties, including exposure to early childhood trauma. By registering for the Good Walk for Kids, you can help exceptional Boston-based nonprofit Project Joy restore what has been taken from these children.
Our Good Walk begins at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 20, the morning of the Life is good Festival on Boston Common. The Life is good Kids Foundation will direct your registration fee and any additional funds you raise to Project Joy, enabling its healing work with our most vulnerable children. The walk itself is a 3-mile family-friendly route that can’t be beat. You'll start at Boston Common, walk along the new Rose Kennedy Greenway to see it all in bloom, stroll along the Harbor Walk with beautiful ocean views, and return to the Common. We'll inject some surprises and fun along the way to keep your stride steady and your smile wide.

- JOIN A TEAM. Does it get any better than taking a Good Walk and then enjoying a day-long Festival with family and friends? Form a team or join one. Click on the "Join a Team” link above.
- BECOME A VIRTUAL WALKER. Can’t make the walk? You can still register, get a great tee, and even fundraise. Click the “Create a Fundraising Page” link.
- DONATE. Enter a friend’s name in the box at top right and click on “Find.”
- BUY FUNDRAISING PRODUCTS. Life is good donates 100% of its profits from the sale of these quality products to children’s charities. Click here to shop our fundraising products.
ANNOUNCING GREAT PRIZES FOR FUNDRAISERS
For additional incentive, we have some sweet prizes to award to two registered fundraisers. One winner will be the fundraiser who raises the highest total dollar amount online as of 6 p.m. ET on Friday, June 19. The other winner will be randomly selected. Each winner will receive the following prizes, with a combined value of $1,105!
1. $300 in FREE driving from Zipcar. Zipcar will also waive the annual fee for the first year as well as the application fee. (Approximate retail value $375)
