Mission: Founded in 1973, BARCC is a community-based, grassroots organization with a mission to provide free crisis counseling and advocacy services designed to empower, support, and educate survivors of rape and sexual assault, their families and friends, and the professionals who work with them. We are deelply committed to provide community education that strives to reduce the tolerance of sexual violence in our community, and to increase understanding of the issues facing survivors.

| My personal message: |
The Theta Omicron Chapter of Alpha Chi Omega is committed to their philanthropy of ending domestic violence and rape.
LipSync is an opportunity for students across MIT's campus to dance, sing, and entertain each other during the most well attended philanthropy event on campus. The students work together to put on acts to some of today's and yesterday's most well-known tunes. It's a night of excitement and entertainment. A panel of 3-5 judges selects the best small act, the best choreography, the most original, and the best overall act.
Donating through this website is a way for friends, family, and alumni to get involved. It is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support this fundraising effort.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
