On February 19, warmhearted walkers will brave the cold TOGETHER, UNITED to help struggling Anchorage families stay warm in these harsh winter months. Too many of our neighbors are walking a financial tightrope to pay for housing, utilites and food. A little aid in paying utility bills will keep a family warm. Even more, it may be the tipping point in keeping a family housed. The need for energy assistance is outpacing available resources. Walk for Warmth immediately addresses this need and is a powerful way for you to be part of United Way’s ongoing work to see that all Anchorage families are housed, warm, fed and on the path to financial stability.
