LKW FUND MISSION STATEMENT
The LKW Fund is dedicated to carrying on the legacy of Laura's love for art, nature, and teaching children, as well as her compassion for the less fortunate; and to eliminating the sexual violence that took her life. Therefore, the LKW Fund has two primary purposes: (1)providing scholarships and other resources which enable disadvantaged children to participate in art or nature programs so that they may learn to appreciate the beauty of art and nature and develop an abiding respect and compassion for the planet and its inhabitants; and (2) supporting programs which help victims of sexual assault and domestic abuse, including affected children, get the services and assistance they need so that their suffering is alleviated and the cycle of violence is not perpetuated.
