You know, I am so lucky and thrilled to have three happy and healthy children who have a safe, comfortable home to call their own - cribs and beds to sleep in and a place to keep their toys. I wish all kids had that. Unfortunately, many good families with infants, toddlers and schoolagers will not have a bed or a crib to sleep in tonight.
I hope that my friends who are also fortunate enough to have a home and a bed for their children will join me in raising money for Vision House. If each of my friends decided to skip their latte tomorrow, or all week or even all month and instead give those dollars to Vision House, then we would be on our way to truly helping the most vulnerable people.
