The Caring for Carcinoid Foundation (CFCF) is the leading 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to discovering a cure for carcinoid. Carcinoid is a deadly neuroendocrine cancer with no cure. Guided by a highly esteemed Board of Scientific Advisors and a 3-step Research Road Map, CFCF awards research grants to cutting-edge researchers. CFCF also provides a wealth of information to support carcinoid patients, families, and friends. 100% of all donations to CFCF directly fund carcinoid research to discover a cure.

Carcinoid cancer is a rare cancer that has been under the radar of much research. I was diagnosed with this chronic cancer in October 2007 and was devastated to find out that it is a chronic cancer simply because enough research has not been done to find a cure. I am currently cancer-free, but I will spend the rest of my life doing scans watching for it to reappear. I hope I can raise money to help the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation give grants for more research funding. Instead of birthday presents or Christmas presents, please consider donating to this cause instead.
