I'm not able to be in the walk but I want to help with receiving donations because my Mom "Nancy" was diagnosed with Huntington's Disease about 7 yrs. ago and she has been in a nursing home for 5 yrs. now.  That's how fast this disease affected her. She will never get better. Her body will continue to deteriorate. Her mind is still pretty good but she does have her days of confusion. Her speaking ability is lessening also. My mom has to be dressed, fed, bathed, wear diapers, and stay in bed all the time except for meals. They lift her into a cushioned wheelchair so she can eat. This disease has affected thousands of people. Not just the people with HD but their loved ones too. If you are able to donate anything you can spare I'd truly appreciate it. My goal is to raise $1,000. I hope you can help not me but my mom.
