Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
My son Reid lives within my heart, my dreams, my tears and my every breath. He's alive only by memory where we laugh...where I listen to him playing his saxophone, piano and violin...where I call to him as he's swimming, "Pull, Reid, pull" with every stroke....
I hear him talk and laugh with his brother Weston. I smile as I watch him playing golf with his dad. I yearn to once again be us laughing so hard our stomachs and cheeks hurt and sometimes lose our breath.
As I ride each year, I remember when Reid, Weston and I would walk, run and ride for many different charities. Mostly along the Charles River. And I'd say every time, "aren't we lucky to be able to be a part of such a great thing, helping our world be a healthier place." And I'd think, how unfortuate for those participating in memory of someone they've lost. I now know what that's like. To live among memories.
I, now as one of those unfortunates, am asking you to support me on this fight so others will never have to live their life in a pool of memories.
Please consider sponsoring me for the 4th Annual Reid's Ride 28 Bike-a-thon in the Fight Against Cancers Striking Adolescents and Young Adults.
Gratefully,
Reid's mom, Lorraine
