Thank you for visiting our fundraising page!  Our church, Shepherd of the Valley,  is hosting this great fundraiser to help raise awareness of homelessness in the Albuquerque area.

 The money we raise through the sleep out will benefit Albuquerque Opportunity Center, a part of the Metropolitan Homeless Project, which is an amazing organization!  Albuquerque Opportunity Center, provides 74 year-round emergency night shelter beds for men. In its four years of operation, AOC has provided almost 40,000.00 nights of shelter to 1300 men, 30% of whom go from the shelter to safe affordable housing.  The organization also operates a transitional housing program for veterans, provides respite care and offers free voice mail service for any needy person in the city.

Shepherd of the Valley (our Church) has supported the Metropolitan Homelessness Project financially for several years. We know how much good they do. 

Now, Tim & I are being the "ghost" team because it turns out that I will be out of town that night and Tim will be only 2 weeks out from his foot surgery (not driving). We will most definitely be on the church grounds in spirit and we hope that through your donation you can be there as well!
