Hello from Ronnie Lunsford
Our Houston Ride for Kids event is fast approaching, I'm asking for your help by making a donation.
The Houston Ride for Kids event is an annual motorcycle ride raising money for the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation.
The photo that you see is myself and Garrett Clark having fun on the new 2008 CBR1000RR at the International Motorcycle Show in Houston back in November. Garrett is one of the many brave brain tumor survivors, who is doing very well, thanks to the research being done at Texas Childrens Hospital and MD Anderson. Research that is funded by our annual Ride for Kids event.
Our 2008 ride date is Sunday April 27th at the Pasadena Convention Center and Fairgrounds. We ride for the kids rain or shine. I have been involved with the Houston Ride for Kids event for 16 years. Last year our ride raised over $227,000 which goes directly to research.
We have made great progress, but we still have lots of work to accomplish. Brain tumors continue to be the #1 killer of children under the age fo 20. These children and their families go through what no child or parent should ever have to endure.
Please help make a difference in the life of a child diagnosed with a brain tumor by making a donation for our much needed research. Donating through this site is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most effecient way to make a contribution to our fund raising efforts. Many thanks for your support, and don't forget to share this page with anyone who you think might want to donate too !! With your help we will find a cure for childhood brain tumors.
