This year we are joining the Lupus Foundation of America and other LFA Chapters in nearly 50 cities across America in the LFA signature event "Walk For Lupus Now"
We've made it simple for you to raise funds quickly & easily for Lupus Foundation of America - Akron Area Chapter.
Register on line, there is no fee.

- Personalize the text and the photo on your Online Fundraising Page to express your passions and your purpose.
- Send the link out to your friends, family, colleagues - anyone you think will help you reach your goal.
Walk for Lupus Now is the signature event of the Lupus Foundation of America. In more than 50 cities and towns across America, thousands of people walk to make a difference in the lives of those affected by lupus and raise essential funds for research, education, and support services.
We hope that you will join members and friends of the LFA Akron Area Chapter in a Walk for Lupus Now.

- Form a Team:
- Gather your family and friends
- Have each member of your team register for Walk For Lupus Now
- Have each member of your team create their own fund raising page and send e-mails to all their family, co-workers, and friends asking for their generous support.
- Don't have a team? Register and come and walk with us anyway, you'll make lots of new lupus friends.
There is no registration fee. Every participant collecting and turning in at least $100 the day of the walk or collecting $100 in on line donations by Midnight September 16th will receive a Walk For Lupus Now T-Shirt. There are also more incentive prizes for individuals who raise $250--$5,000. All Pledge money must be turned in by September 1, 2011 to qualify for incentive prizes.
Even if you can not attend the walk, you can be a virtual walker! Set up your fund raising page and e-mail your friends, family, and co-workers asking for donations. Call us for a pledge form to use when people do not want to give their donation on-line.
