                19th Annual Walk-Along for Lupus!!

The Lupus Alliance of America LI/Q Affiliate has held our annual Walk-Along for Lupus every October for the last 19 years, in order to raise money to help those with lupus in the local area live better lives while fighting and searching for a cure! Please help us, continue the fight, by donating, or registering to walk today!!

The weather was beautiful, the sun was shining, and the park was full of smiling faces. This year was the largest crowd we have ever had, and the most money we have ever raised on walk day! This page isnt big enough to thank all of the people that we need to thank, especially to our dedicated volunteers, many of whom come back year after year, to our generous sponsors, and to our many walkers who work so hard collecting their pledges year after year.

Special Thanks to Greg-T and Z-100 for attending every year, and helping us get the crowd energized. Thank you to The Roadhouse Band for entertaining our walkers. Their music gets better and better every year. Thank you to the Bellmore/Merrick Ambulance Core for once again making sure our walkers are safe.

Making a Page to Still Collect Donations is Simple!!!!

Click the GREEN JOIN NOW BUTTON to either register as a walker, make or join a team, or just make a donation to the walk!!

Once you click the JOIN NOW button, follow the simple instructions to register for the walk. Be sure to follow through to the end of the registraiton process, and create your fundraising webpage, so you can e-mail, or facebook it to all your friends, family and co-workers and start collecting donations!

If you have walked and registered online before, please note the HAVE AN ACCOUNT, PLEASE SIGN IN BUTTON, to the left of the first page of the registraiton process. Use this to enter the email and password you had from last year, using this button will help speed up your registration process.

Please Note: Donating to a friends page is not the same as registering to join their team and walk with them. If you want to walk or join a friends team and collect your own donations, be sure to join, register, and make your own fundraising page! To just make a donation, go to your friends page and make your donation!
