5th Annual Walk-Along for Lupus Mall Walks

Albany, March 18, 2012 at Crossgates Mall

Syracuse, March 25, 2012 at Carousel Mall

             Registration Begins at 8:30am (at the food court)        

                              Walk Begins at 9:30am

1.  Click on the GREEN START FUNDRAISING BUTTON above to sign up and start collecting money online!

2. Once you register, you can create your personal webpage, write your own personal message to family and friends or use the one shown on the website. You can format the information the same as you would if creating a word document.

3. Once you create your page, send a link to your friends, family, and co-workers to ask for donations or recruit team members. When sending e-mail`s be sure to input the entire ee-mail address i.e. @yahoo.com.

 The registration tables open at 8:30 a.m. at the food court. Individual walkers or team members who have registered online should look for the tables with those signs. All others will go to the regular registration lines. To make registration go faster, have your registration form filled out.

If you are captain of a large team, try to meet in one location to make sure everyone has the correct form completed and their individual money counted. We will assign a volunteer to work with the larger teams.

C Do you have a blog? It`s a great way to help us spread the word & get donations even if you can`t walk for us!

C Do You Twitter? If so you can help spread the word and Tweet your walk webpage to gather donations & ask friends to Re-tweet for you!

C Do you use Facebook? If so you can help by recruiting friends, posting links to the walk donation page & more.  You can also use your facebook status to link to your walk fundraising page in order to get donations!

C Do you Digg? If so you can help by posting links to our walk pages and walk articles, as well as your own walk webpage and ask your friends to digg it! The more Diggs we get, the more people find out about lupus!

C Make a YouTube video on Why you Walk for Lupus & share with the world why the Walk-Along for Lupus is important to you & post it on your webpage.  Let us know if you post a video so we can share it with our members as well.
