LVEF's 2013 Reach for the Stars was a huge success! Featuring over 500 student performers and artists from every school in the LVJUSD, the event continues to raise funds for visual and performing arts education in Livermore public schools!
Back by popular demand, Reach for the Stars sold out the Bankhead Theater for the third year in a row. Audiences delighted in the dynamic performances and stunning artwork presented by local children and teens enrolled in LVJUSD schools. All proceeds benefit the LVEF Straight A's Campaign for the Arts, providing nearly $100,000 a year to the district in support of Fifth-Grade Elementary Music classes and many other arts programs in our schools.
LVEF thanks Cosmos Presenting Sponsor Wells Fargo Bank as well as all corporate sponsors, school site parent clubs and individual donors who help to keep arts education open for all students!
