Thank you for visiting my fund raising page! I want to raise money for ARF because ARF rescued k.d., the McNab dog shown on this page. k.d. was painfully shy and afraid of the world when ARF took her in. Now she lives with me, and as you can see in the picture, she is a happy, healthy and very sweet dog. Her current job is teaching young Ripley, the baby border collie, how to play and have fun.
In addition to rescuing animals, ARF has programs for kids, teens, schools and groups, sponsors visits to senior facilities with therapy dogs, and collaborates with the county probation and mental health departments in implementing the Teaching Loving Care Program in which high-risk adolescent girls participate in a structured, 12-week program that combines animal assisted mental health therapy with the training and behavior modification of the rescued cats.
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fund raising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
