This year, San Francisco is the newest of eight cities participating in the Paddle for Autism Awareness, a kayaking event raising autism awareness in developing countries through The Global Autism Project. (www.globalautismproject.org)The fundamental belief that all children with Autism and their communities deserve effective resources guides the Global Autism Project's work, as well as the belief that education leads to understanding and acceptance of differences.
