First of all a bit about me....my name is MaKayela Mantooth.  I am 12 yrs old and in the 7th grade. I love to raise basset hound puppies with my mom. I also love to play softball but it is getting harder and harder to do because I have Freidreich's Ataxia, It is a form of Muscular Dystrophy.  I am raising money for MDA for research, equipment and most of all CAMP!!  Every summer we go to MDA camp for a week.  It is this really cool place where for just 1 week everyone is the same!  We have the best time swimming, playing power soccer, (with the wheel chairs) and just hanging out!  We have the best counselors & cabin leaders in the world!!  I want to thank you for taking the time to read a bit about me, check back often as I will be updating my site from time to time.
