The Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Vermont grants wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
We believe that childhood is a time when everything is possible and nothing seems out of reach. It is a time to dream, a time for magic. But for our wish children, the magic has been overshadowed by the daily doses of doctors’ visits, hospital stay, medications and treatments. And it is not fair. Therefore, our Foundation strives to bring the magic of childhood back into the lives of our wish chldren. The goal in fulfilling the one-true-wish is to rekindle the excitement and anticipation often felt throughout childhood. To achieve this goal, the Foundation creates a wish experience that will sprinkle magic and show the power in the phrase “I wish...”
