Hi Everyone! As many of you know, this September I am moving to San Luis Obispo to attend Cal Poly. I am majoring in Animal Science, with an emphasis in Pre-Vet and I am planning on volunteering at the Woods Humane Society in SLO. This October, the Woods Humane Society is having its 16th annual Wiggle Waggle Walk to raise money for the shelter. The shelter takes in many homeless and injured animals everyday and takes care of them until they can be adopted into a new, loving and permanent home. The shelter only charges a very minimal fee for adopting the animals, so they have to rely on the help of their many volunteers and the generous donations of the public. I have loved animals my whole life, and the work that this society does is very important to me and to the thousands of animals they help every year.
