Greetings Friend!
Thank you for considering a donation for my fund raising effort in support of Inspiration Corporation. It is a great organization which digs deep into homelessness and helps people who need help - not just temporary help, but counseling, job training and everything a person needs to pull themselves out of the nasty cycle that is homelessness. The issue of homelessness is very near to my heart. I try to help in any way I can and with everything that I do - personal goals included.
One of my life long dreams and goals has always been to finish a marathon. As many people know, I had an injury years ago and a few doctors told me I would never be able to run a marathon. Many people who read this are laughing because they know I am not very good at listening to people who tell me I can't do something! Here I am today training for my dream! I think it's only fitting that I put together two of the most important things in my life - reaching my goals and helping fellow human beings.
Whether you are able to give $1 or $500, keep in mind that whatever you are able to do, you are helping. Your donation will combine with others and that concerted effort will mean someone will get the help they need. It's a good feeling to know you are a part of something big helping others!
Thanks for being a part of my something big!
Mary
PS. Please remember that if you don't want to do a donation on line, you can send me a check. Please contact me if you are more comfortable with that option!
