Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to make a contribution to my fundraising efforts. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
Yes! I will venture once again into the depths of Lake Champlain in February. I figured I survived last year and this year the CCS Team has tripled in size!! How could I not do it as I was the instigator last year?
Things I learned from last year:
1. Don't try carrying a sign while plunging especially when there are 40 mph gusting winds.
2. Shots of Alcohol before plunging really don't help that much.
3. Make sure you are holding onto someone when plunging so as not to be the last one out of the water-- cause if you need help they will not hear you yelling at the top of your lungs.
4. Be prepared to have all systems slow down to barely functionable levels seconds after you enter the water.
5. Screaming, the adrenaline rush, and some crazy friends are all one really needs to be a successful plunger! (oh yeah - and lots of pledges!)
Thanks for pledging and supporting some of the special olympians that I have the pleasure of working with through CCS.
