Melody and I just returned from Zambia. Until we saw with our own eyes, we would not have believed.

Hundreds of thousands of children are losing their parents to HIV/AIDS -- and that's just in Zambia. In sub-Saharan Africa, 15-million (yes million) children are truly innocent, truly vulnerable and orphaned! It's just not right.

This pandemic is being called the GREATEST HUMAN TRAGEDY OF ALL TIME.
Until we met Tonia and her children, the statistics where only numbers to me. Now, the panademic has the face of a young mother -- and the five children she cares most about. Just recently, Tonia's husband died of HIV/Aids. Now, she's dying too. We listened to her . . . prayed with her. Our hearts broke as she shared her only concern, "Who will care for my children"? These precious children are truly innocent and truly vulnerable. But there is HOPE. World Vision is offering food, medicine, home-based care volunteers and the love of Christ to children who've lost parents to HIV/AIDS. Africa has changed me. Tonia and her children have changed me. I'm dedicated to bringing HOPE to children who are alone, who need someone to come alongside them. Would you please help me, help them? Here's how. This Labor Day, I competed in the 2005 World 24 Hour of Adrenalin Championships. I raced my mountain bike -- day and night for TEAM WORLD VISION. The race was cold and rainy . . . but, my discomfort was nothing in contrast to the daily experience of innocent Aids Orphans in Africa. Please stand with me to help these vulnerable children.
