I am going to raise $26,200.00 running a 26.2 mile marathon in Nashville, TN on April 26, 2008. All of the proceeds will go to World Medical Mission's project to rebuild Memorial Christian Hospital in Bangladesh.
I am raising the money in honor of my friend, Dr. Jim Foulkes, who gave 38 years of time, service, example, wisdom, and love to the suffering people of Africa.
I am also raising the money in loving memory of Dr. Lowell Furman, who helped create World Medical Mission. He was a man of great character, wisdom, and love.... a true Man of God!
Isaiah 40:31 But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint.
Donating through my page is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my run.
Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to help! Thanks for your tax deductible contribution and support!!! You will receive a receipt directly from Samaritan's Purse in about a month.
Finish Strong!
