Since Saint Anne’s Hospital cancer care program was founded in 1976 as a medical oncology outpatient clinic of Boston University, our Regional Cancer Care Program has grown to provide the region’s most comprehensive, hospital-based oncology services. We care for more than 5,800 patients annually by offering the expertise of university cancer centers with the care and convenience of a community setting...and a host of complementary services to help patients and their loved ones make the cancer journey with care and concern.
In 2008, we completed a $5 million enhancement to the Hudner Oncology Center in Fall River and are currently constructing a $21 million radiation oncology center on Faunce Corner Rd. in Dartmouth, MA. Saint Anne's investment in these enhancements demonstrates its commitment to providing our patients and community with local access to same technology and treatments offered at major academic centers like the Dana/Farber and Brigham and Women’s Hospital (BWH) in Boston, MA where our team of radiation oncologists and also members of the medical staff.
We look forward to your involvement in Get Moving and for helping to bring world-class cancer care to our neighborhood.
