Meet Maude! 

Maude and her 4 month-old son, Marvin were found roaming the streets of Pasadena. When they arrived at the shelter they were scared, tired and hungry, but greeted the staff with big sloppy kisses anyway!

Maude looks like she has been used for breeding repeatedly during her estimated six years, and someone cut poor Marvin's ears off with scissors. Yet after all that, they greet you with wagging tails and roll on their backs for you to give them belly rubs. 

The volunteers at the shelter recognized how sweet this family was and sent out pleas for their adoption. After weeks and weeks at the Pasadena Humane Society no one had shown any interest in adopting either dog. Their time was up.

Karma Rescue couldn't bear to see this duo euthanized so they stepped in and saved Maude and her baby boy!  Marvin is doing great in his foster home and will no doubt get adopted quickly as most puppies do. But Maude, being an older gal and set in her ways, might take some time. Karma Rescue wants  Maude to find her forever home as soon as possible, so they would like to send her to live with a trainer and attend "Charm School" for a few weeks.  While she's in school she'll work on her doggy social skills and learn to be the most polite, well-behaved little lady she can.  Before Maude can go to school though, Karma Rescue needs to raise her tuition.
