My personal message:

DO YOU ZUMBA?An easy question that will immediately get you off the couch. We’ve endured another dark and cold New Hampshire winter, but Spring – according to the Almanac - sprung on March 20. Sadly, snow still lays on the ground that is quickly becoming a pud muddle, or should that read mud puddle – our brains are still thawing too.

Technically the word ZUMBA originates from Colombian colloquialism meaning “to buzz like a bee”
Translated it means a new, invigorating, fun filled event in the Lakes Region, a high energy aerobic workout using Latin dance steps: think Mambo meets muscle. Unlike the stone-faced treadmill runners you usually see at health clubs, Zumbathoners  yes, they’ll be sweating, but they’ll be laughing and smiling while burning off up to 1000 calories in this 2 ½ hour marathon

WHAT IS  ZUMBATHON? How thrilling to be able to link up with so many in the community, all kinds of people, and, in the process, benefit a worthy cause: New Hampshire Humane Society, partnered with Summit Health of Belmont New Hampshire  www.summithealthnh.com  will host the first ever ZUMBATHON at Gilford Elementary School, Gilford, New Hampshire, on Saturday May 9. Starting at 10.00am. for 2 ½ hours participants will warm up, learn new steps and exercise to the melodic beat of Latin music. 100% of the pledges and registration fees will be gifted to the animal welfare agency in Laconia, New Hampshire Humane Society.

MASON ASKS YOU TO HELP In order to be the fitest most energetic owner -Mason asks you suport Marylee in her effort to complete the Zumbathon on behalf of the animals at New Hampshire Humane Society. It's going t be tough, it won't be easy, EMT's are standing by - but we are counting on your support.
Perhaps you're feeling even braver, and want to participate yourself, then to the humane society link.

If you don't feel comfortable making an on-line donation please send your sponsorship gift to New Hampshire Humane Society  - attention Zumbathon P.O. Box 572 Laconia NH 03246.
