Hello,

Thank you for visiting my Personal Fundraising Page. This is my 13th year with Team Alpha, and the 13th Escape to the Cape  bike trek we have done. The Team will be bigger than ever this year and we hope to raise over $50,000 for Alpha-1 research.

Please give if you can. Then tell your family and friends how important it is to see a doctor if they are short of breath or have frequent lung infections. 12 million people in the US are diagnosed with COPD and another 12 million have it but are not diagnosed. It's estimated that 2-3% of those inherited Alpha-1 Deficiency.

If you know anyone with lung disease make sure they see a doctor and get tested for Alpha-1. You may be saving their life.
