Well, it's less then a month until the big day and I have been doing well with my training.  But, I have been doing really well with donations and both myself and Ashley G. Thank You for your generous support. 

If you have ever run a long distance, or even short, you know that a good portion is physical.  However, a bigger portion of running is mental.  What I do to battle that is listen to my iPod.  Although the Rock & Roll Half Marathon has bands along the way every couple of miles, I still listen to my iPod to keep my mind off my tired legs.

So, why am I telling you this?  Well, I am hoping that you can send me the name (or names) and artist of your favorite songs so I can purchase them online and download to my iPod.  This way, I can think of all of you individually while I am kickin' along my 13.1 mile route.  Can you help? 

I also want to thank all of you that were able to sponsor my cause with your donation.  I am still hoping to reach my goal and I hope that those of you who haven't had a chance to donate can still spare a dollar or two.  If not, sending me an encouraging note would be just as valuable.

Lastly, I hope that all of you have a safe and Happy Holiday season.  And I will be thinking of you during my training runs 4-5 days a week.
