The annual Matthew Siravo Memorial Golf for Epilepsy is in memory of Matty Siravo, a beautiful boy with a big smile and boundless energy who died unexpectedly due to a prolonged seizure on Mother's Day 2003. The Golf for Epilepsy is a sellout each year, so we encourage you to sign-up early to reserve your spot. Participation includes greens fee, golf cart, lunch, dinner and donation.
All proceeds from this event will support the Matthew Siravo Epilepsy Resource Center and the children & families touched by epilepsy.
The Matthew Siravo Memorial Foundation, the Matty Fund, is a 501(3) non-profit organization with the only Epilepsy Resource Center in the State of Rhode Island. Through its numerous programs and research initiatives, the Matty Fund is helping children and families affected by epilepsy. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.

The Matthew Siravo Memorial Foundation and Epilepsy Resource Center is the only Rhode Island organization committed to aiding and assisting individuals with epilepsy and their families.
Our numerous programs unlimited services are made possible through the generosity of our supporters, donors and volunteers. We have successfully collaborated on research initiatives with Neuro-Scientist at Brown University, developed an educational forum & training for certified school nurse teachers concerning safety protocols, established an annual lectureship featuring prominent doctors from across the country, have created an annual research symposium for scientists and clinicians, implemented an Epilepsy Awareness Program in schools throughout R.I. and at the University of Rhode Island, and have distributed nearly 20,000 copies of our book, "My Friend Matty" - A Story About Living with Epilepsy, throughout the U.S.
The Matthew Siravo Memorial Foundation and Epilepsy Resource Center of Rhode Island, founded by Debra & Richard Siravo, is managed by a Board of Directors composed of business leaders & parents dealing with epilepsy and a Medical Advisory Board which is composed of medical professionals, neurologists & epileptologists.
