The 3.1 mile run/walk is held in memory of Matthew Siravo, a beautiful boy with a big smile and boundless energy, who died enexpectedly following a prolonged seizure at the age of five. Epilepsy afects 3 million Americans and is the third most common neurological disorder.

After the race, participants will enjoy free refreshment including: bottled water, bagels, fruit, BBQ & ice cream. All participants will also be entered into our free raffle. 5k awards will be presented during this time.

Our Mission: The Matty Fund will provide family resources, raise epilepsy awareness, promote patient safety and improve the quality of life for children and families living with epilepsy.

The Matty Fund provides funding for epilepsy research, family support, sponsors children for Camp Matty, a therapeutic horseback riding summer camp, awards college scholarships to Rhode Island high school seniors with epilepsy, and much more.
