New goal--because we got such great support!
We got a lot of support this summer--enough so that we can reduce our goal to $2,000! Now our ambitious 2008-2009 season is upon us, and our plans are coming to fruition. We are particularly excited about partnering with the Boys and Girls Club of Bloomington to offer free music training to young B&G Club participants. We will need to fund instruments for 14 young players! Every donation, no matter how large or small (really!), will make a difference in the lives of young musicians and musicians-yet-to-be.
How can you help us reach our goal?
• Donate! You can donate online via this page, or you can mail a check to MAYO, PO Box 5081, Bloomington IN, 47407.
• Tell everyone! Tell your friends, family, co-workers and anyone else you can think of. Click the Share This Page link above--you'll be able to email this page, grab a handy fundraising widget that you can put on your website, link this page to your Facebook profile, or send out a Myspace bulletin.
• Use matching donations. Many companies have giving programs that support the charities their employees contribute to. This is an easy way to double your donation – just check with your employer to see if your company offers matching donations.
