Thanks for visiting our fundraising page! Our son, Chris, was diagnosed with PDD-NOS, an Autism Spectrum Disorder. The 2008 Imagine Walk will increase awareness of autism and show support for the many families in RI working hard to support an individual with autism. Recent cuts in state-wide educational spending have forced The Autism Project of RI to increase their fundraising efforts. These funds are needed to allow them to continue to offer important programs like "The Club", "Move, Think, Create, Communicate" summer camp, and training programs for schools and organizations. This event gives us a tangible way to help the Project grow and continue to help us and other families across RI in similar situations. We ask for your support in helping us raise money for this worthy cause. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure and is 100% tax deductible. If you're not comfortable donating on-line, we are accepting checks made out to "Autism Project of RI". Or, you can simply send your check by regular mail to: Autism Project of RI, 51 Sockanosset Crossroad, Suite A, Cranston, RI 02920. For more information on the Autism Project of RI you can visit their website at www.theautismproject.org. Please forward this link to anyone who might want to donate, too! On behalf of our entire family and the thousands of Rhode Islanders living with autism, we thank you for your support!
