GRID Alternatives works collaboratively with communities and local organizations to identify specific needs and to develop renewable energy solutions that are environmentally, socially, and economically sustainable. We believe that environmental stewardship, women's rights, and humanitarian protection are integral to these sustainable solutions.

Hi and welcome to my GRID Alternatives SOLARTHON 2008 fundraising page!
GRID Alternatives is an Oakland based organization dedicated to providing renewable energy to low income homeowners.
Grid Alternatives along with Habitat for Humanity is sponsoring its 3rd annual SOLARTHON fundraiser and installation event, installing eight solar electric systems in one day at Habitat for Humanity East Bay's new Buena Vista Commons development in the City of Alameda.
With your help I will be able to help GA exceed last years goal of $40,000.
