We are very proud to reach our 10th year milestone. Our first walk had around 300 walkers and earned just over $13,000.This year we anticipate over 750 walkers and hope to earn over $40,000.

Michiana Down Syndrome (The Down Syndrome Family Support and Advocacy Group) is a non-for profit 501(c)3 organization. We are proud to serve the South Bend, Mishawaka, Elkhart, Bremen, Plymouth, LaPorte, and other surrounding cities in Northern Indiana in addition to South West Michigan.
Our goal with the Michiana Down Syndrome walk is to raise awareness, support, resources and to advocate for individuals with Down syndrome and their families in the Michiana community.
