Hi Family and Friends,

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page! We are walking  to raise awareness about the severity of food allergies.  As you know Sean suffers from multiple food allergies including peanuts, tree nuts and sesame seeds, among others. Last year I helped to found a new organization, the Food Allergy Association of Wisconsin, We have officially obtained nonprofit status and are on our way to spreading the word and educating others about food allergies. 

Currently there is no cure for food allergies, just avoidance of the "offending" food, Sounds simple? It's not!

There are lots of studies underway around the country to find a treatment and we hope to be able to provide grants to those studies as time goes on but our organization is young. Right now, most of our efforts are working with families that have a child with a new diagnosis of food allergy. We have grown to nearly 300 families and everything we offer is free!  The organization is totally volunteer so everything you contribute goes directly to helping others!
