Five year old, Meghan has the diagnosis of severe kyphosis, hearing loss in both ears, since birth.  She has bilateral hearing aids and requires speech therapy for communication delays resulting from the hearing loss.  Hearing aids do not improve hearing to normal levels or reduce the impact of noise and distance on her ability to hear. 

Meghan would benefit from a personal FM system to filter out unwanted noise and increase her ability to hear speakers from a distance. This will aid her overall communication and help build a strong foundation for learning.   The cost of the FM system is $3,000.
