Barbara "Bobbie" Carque lost her short battle with Melanoma on February 15th, 2012, just fourteen days after being diagnosed. The 59 years of her life were full of love, adventure, laughter, family, and helping others through several organizations to which she belonged.

Bobbie spent 34 years teaching in the Clark County School District in which she touched countless lives and provided inspiration to her students.

In her free time, she loved to travel, take pictures, and make memories; especially with her husband, children, and grandchildren.

 

Out of honor and love for her, this 5K run and 1M walk is being established in hopes to bring awareness to such a terrible and silent killer.

Please join us as we "Book It For Bobbie", and raise money for the Melanoma Research Foundation in her name. 

 

5K run begins at 8:00 am

1 Mile walk begins at 8:15 am

 

Registration will take place  from 5 pm - 7 pm on October 5, at Town Square, as well as the morning of the event from 6:30 am - 7:45 am.
