| My personal message: |
Thank you for visiting my fund-raising page!
So I may not have my own dog, but I'm not letting that stop me from fund-raising for my favorite charity organization. As you can see from the picture of Tyson, I am borrowing my brother's dog for ARF's fund-raiser--Paws on Parade--and will be happily walking him around Broadway Plaza in Walnut Creek on May 18.
For those of you who don't know, I have been volunteering with ARF for about a year and a half as a foster parent. In that time I've fostered 27 cats and kittens and 1 puppy at my house. It is one of the most wonderful, rewarding activities I do and I count myself lucky to be able to help these animals until they go to their happily ever after homes.
But now I (and my borrowed pooch Tyson) are looking to YOU for support. I hope that you can spare a little change--anything will do, even a dollar! ARF relies pretty much totally on community support and what they do is totally worth it. I'll be super grateful and probably (knowing me) send you a lovely card in the mail. :)
Donating through this website is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fund-raising efforts.
Thank you so much for your support -- and feel free to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
