Give Kids The World Village (GKTW) is a 70-acre, non-profit resort in Central Florida that creates magical memories for children with life-threatening illnesses and their families. GKTW provides accommodations at its whimsical resort, donated attractions tickets, meals and more for a week-long, cost-free fantasy vacation. With the help of many generous individuals, corporations and partnering wish-granting organizations, Give Kids The World has welcomed more than 85,000 families from all 50 states and over 60 countries. Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Give Kids The World. GKTW is a magical resort where kids who face life-threatening illnesses can be kids. Since its founding in 1986, Give Kids The World has welcomed over 87,000 families from all 50 states and over 60 countries. Last year alone GKTW hosted more than 6500 families.
Give Kids The World has made a promise to never turn down a child in need. Currently, for 70 percent of the year, the Village has over 100 percent occupancy, meaning some families must stay in a nearby hotel during their Wish Trip. For this reason, Give Kids The World Village is in the midst of its largest expansion project in its history.
Demand for Central Florida wishes is forecast to increase about six percent each year through 2015. To accommodate this growth the Village will need to expand to approximately 192 villas. Every person you tell about this mission, will help bring GKTW one step closer to achieving this goal.
