My personal message:
Find out more information at our web site:
MiddlesexCentury.org
When
Samuel Jordan
was suddenly struck ill in June of 2000, Sam, his family and friends quickly learned a lot about
aplastic anemia
. Sam passed away on August 8th, 2000.
In an effort to raise awareness and funding for research, the Middlesex Century was organized. A group of friends get together and bike 100 miles on a Saturday in August. The goal is to see enough funds raised for
AA&MDSIF
to have a research grant named in Sam’s honor. 2009 is the ninth year of the ride.
Riding through suburban Boston - Maynard, Chelmsford, Marlborough, Framingham and Waltham. The route changes from year to year. In the past the route has taken riders from Concord to Princeton and up Mt. Wachusett.
