This is the FirstGiving.com fund-raising page for the Miles 4 Melanoma Pan-American Ride. Thank you for visiting! The Miles 4 Melanoma Pan-American Ride is a bicycle ride from Cleveland, Ohio to Ushuaia, Argentina, beginning August 24, 2008. The purpose of the ride is to promote awareness of melanoma and raise funds for melanoma research. It is being done in memory of George Madzia of Adena, Ohio, who succumbed to the effects of melanoma in November of 2002. Donating through this website is simple, fast, and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to support my fund-raising efforts. And remember, all donations forwarded to the Melanoma Research Foundation through this site are used to directly fund researchers working in the field of melanoma. Many thanks for your support -- and don't forget to forward this to anyone who you think might want to donate too!
