Thank you for visiting Parker's Fundraising Page for the 2009 DSAGR Buddy Walk!
Parker's Story:
Parker was born on December 2, 2008 with Trisomy 21 and a AV Canal Heart Defect. His life began with a 3 week stay at Henrico Doctors Hospital - and then 2 weeks at UVA Childrens Hospital before we could finally bring him home! He returned to UVA for open heart surgery in April, and although he spent 6 weeks in the hospital due to complications, he is doing much better. He has brought so much joy to our lives. His smile is precious and his laugh contagious. Parker is named in honor of his great grandmother, Mary Parker. Malin, his middle name, is Old English for "little strong warrior". His big brother Ben loves him so much and Parker can not stop smiling when he is around. We are truly blessed. Thank you in advance for your support of Parker!
